The VIN Decoder is a one-step method of identifying your vehicle's Make, Model, Year, and Engine. By entering your VIN into the decoder, eBahn automatically identifies your exact vehicle and shows only related repair information. By using the VIN decoder, you can be sure that you are viewing the correct repair information for your vehicle. Once you enter your 17 character VIN, click the decode button to see the results.
1. Enter your VIN

2. Click the "Decode" button

3. Confirm the vehicle and click the "Tech Info" tab on the left side of the screen to access the repair information.

Another possible method of navigation is by using the DTC Xpress. DTC Xpress is a new feature in eBahn that allows you to navigate to suggested repair information for a particular problem for all OBDII compliant vehicles. This method requires the use of a diagnostic or scan tool to obtain trouble codes from the vehicle's On Board Diagnostic system. By identifying your Make, Model, Year, and Engine on the Vehicle Tab in the left-hand navigation bar, DTC Xpress is activated and enables you to choose from a comprehensive list of DTCs and VAG codes. Selecting a code from the drop-down list will bring you to the suggested repair information.

There are ways to navigate to repair information in eBahn. The default navigation mode is the Express view which incorporates a left-side navigation bar for rapid movement through the repair information. This view is similar to Windows® Explorer with folders on the left and content on the right. The left-side navigation bar includes three tabs for improved functionality and speed. The Vehicle tab is where you can identify your Make, Model, Year, and Engine to filter all repair information for your specific vehicle. The Tech Info tab is where you can quickly navigate through the Official Factory Repair Information. The Search tab enables advanced searching of content for keywords and phrases.

The second method that can be used is the Single Frame view which removes the left-side navigation bar requiring navigation through hyperlinks in the main content window and the back and forward buttons on the toolbar. This mode is similar to viewing a web page through your browser where all information is displayed in one window.
